We are looking for a Financial Analyst at UPM Raflatac. This position will be located in Asheville, North Carolina, USA.

What you will do

• Perform detailed financial analysis on manufacturing operations, including cost structures and variance analyses

• Monitor production costs, labor, materials, and overhead; maintain and improve financial models

• Support month-end close activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and reporting specific to manufacturing

• Prepare regular reports, dashboards, and ad hoc financial analyses for leadership

• Partner with operations to identify cost-saving opportunities and drive operational efficiency

• Support the budgeting and forecasting process; assist with annual plans and periodic forecasts

• Continuously seek process improvements within finance and manufacturing reporting

Who you are

• You have a Bachelor’s degree in Business, Economics, Finance or Accounting

• You have 2-5 years’ experience within a controlling or finance costs position

• You have well-developed communication skills, both oral and written, and the ability to relate well with a wide range of colleagues and constituents

• Strong knowledge of cost accounting and manufacturing processes

• You are detail-oriented and display effective organizational skills

• You are proficient in financial modelling and qualitative analysis, and eager to turn data into actionable information

• You are able to manage multiple priorities and are able to adapt to the changing demands of a dynamic business environment 

• You have strong technical knowledge of computer software applications such as MS Office products, and multi-dimensional databases including Tableau and PowerBI

• You are able to work effectively as a member of a project team to achieve required results

Location: Asheville, North Carolina, USA (2 locations)

Travel requirements: 1-2 times per year.

The position holder will report to the Senior Manager Business Control, UPM Raflatac North America & Markets.
