Job description


Reporting directly to Asia Finance Shared Services Team Leader, the Financial Analyst is primarily accountable for daily operations, month-end tasks such as booking of period-end close entries and ensuring all entries are posted before the General Ledger is closed.


Position Responsibilities:

  • Operations - finance operations which are transaction in nature but has financial impact (e.g. invoicing, credit card refund, fund sighting)
  • Accounting Operations - responsible in preparing, uploading of entries to facilitate month-end activities
  • Reconciliation of accounts and balance sheet items for regulatory requirements
  • Financial Reporting - for submission to regional team for consolidation of reports
  • Management Reporting - to support the requirement of internal and external parties


Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor Degree of Accountancy or above, plus 1-2 years of accounting or related work background
• Experience in accounting treatments in Insurance or Finance industries preferred
• Strong interpersonal skills

Preferred Qualifications:


• Knowledge in Excel functions, and pivot tables; knowledge of common office tools (Word, PPT, Visio)
• Attention to details
• Strong analytical skills
• Self-starter, well-organized and team oriented.
