A Glimpse into Your New Role

As a Finance Officer, you’ll play a pivotal role in maintaining the financial operations and integrity of our business. Your responsibilities will encompass a range of daily, weekly, and monthly tasks, including:

  • Conducting bank reconciliations, including credit cards (NAB & AMEX)
  • Managing the warehouse transfer process (Unleashed to Xero) and updating the Fixed Asset Register
  • Processing supplier invoices in Xero and proposing supplier payments
  • Following up on overdue invoices and processing staff reimbursements
  • Managing finance-specific tickets related to payment extensions, account cancellations, and allocation of unidentified customer receipts
  • Generating monthly reports, including aged debtors, annuity/revenue share, and referral partner reports

With a robust understanding of financial processes, you’ll ensure data accuracy and timely task completion. You’ll also collaborate with internal teams and report directly to the Head of Finance, supporting essential month-end activities and deadline-driven financial reporting.

What You’ll Bring

  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or a related field
  • CPA or equivalent is beneficial but not required
  • Advanced Excel skills
  • Strong understanding of GST (Australia) is preferred
  • Experience in retail Telco finance is a plus
