Job description

• As a key member of Share Service Finance team, assuming responsibility and assisting in the month-end activities (support AR/AP/GL & fixed asset functions) and preparation of management accounts & monthly balance sheet schedules of Malaysia entity
• Identify and implement process improvements to enhance the efficiency and accuracy of the monthly, quarterly, semi-annually and annual reporting.
• Assist in preparing year-end-accounts and statutory accounts ensure compliance with Malaysia and IFRS accounting standards
• Provide the management team monthly financial report vs budget. Review and provide analysis on the financial trends.
• Support regional projects such as fixed assets related enhancement, enterprise robot Q&A service implementation, other various system enhancements etc.
• Responsible for annual audit & other local statutory filing
• Provide necessary support to complete the annual tax filing on time
• Other ad-hoc assignment

Job requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, finance, or business-related majors. ACCA is preferred.
• 5+ years relevant experience in accounting and finance.
• Sound knowledge of IFRS, local and international taxation laws.
• Good command of written and spoken English & Mandarin.
• Keep curiosities, self-motivated, and detail oriented.
• A good team player with strong executive skills.
