Job description

Duties & Accountabilities

Financial Accounting, reporting and audit

1. Meet internal reporting requirements on time and prepare report in full compliance with Air Liquide Group financial policies/guidelines.

2. Produce financial statements in accordance with local statutory accounting rule.

3. Supervision of and performing accounting functions (shared service, timely/accurate financial statement, project accounting, etc)

4. Responsible for internal/external audits including actions to follow-up

5. Liaise with government authorities, internal and external auditors and banks

6. Perform ad hoc forecasting as well as at required internal Air Liquide Group deadlines

7. Establish the company’s accounting procedures and regulations and standardize daily routine operations

Taxation

1. Ensure tax estimation complying with updated tax regulation

2. Perform tasks necessary to comply with local statutory requirements for tax reporting and income tax return preparation

3. Closely monitor enactments of any new tax laws to minimize tax burden to Company

4. Responsible for regular tax audit by NTS

Treasury

1. Treasury function management (cash level monitoring, FX risk management, WCR monitoring etc.)

Risk management, compliance

1. Deploy the internal control system according to AL Group standards.

2. Apply the solid compliance system to adopt the best practices of local (finance) compliance requirements locally.

3. Conducting risk management with a focus on FX and treasury activities for ALAM APAC entities.

Others

1. Ensure successful succession plan and smooth back-ups within the finance team

2. Assist with customer negotiations, legal matters, and preparation for BOD meetings

3. Support on finance transformation project, towards to Shared-service model and matrix organization.

4. Suppot on ERP implementation project roll out in ALAM Korea.

-Over 8 years of experience in the area of general accounting preferably with multinational firms

-Good knowledge of local and US (or International) GAAP, tax regulations and treasury

-Cooperative person and good team player Proactive and positive working attitude Independent
