Finance Analyst (India Controllership)

Principal Responsibilities

• Responsible for preparing month-end closing, journal entries, reconciliations, tax and other local filings.
• Assist towards annual statutory, tax and transfer study and audit as per local gaap requirements.
• Assist in reconciling information and responding to requests for information to assist with consolidation by parent US Company as per USGAAP.
• Facilitate requests from various departments including tax authorities, external auditors and regulators.
• Interaction with various internal stakeholders across finance and various departments in Asia, Europe and NY and external stakeholders including Banks, auditors, tax advisors.
• Identify opportunities and participate in various finance related projects (local and regional), and assist in ad-hoc projects as needed.
   

Qualifications/Skills Required

• 1 to 3 years post-qualification.
• Chartered Accountant with relevant corporate accounting experience.
• Good knowledge of IFRS and India GAAP. US GAAP Experience preferred.
• Excellent analytical and communication skills (both oral and written) required.
• Strong technical proficiency with web applications and MS Office (strong Excel skills)
• Ability to multi-task as well as meet short deadlines in a demanding environment and time management skills.
• Good interpersonal and communication skills.
• Solid analytical skills and judgment with strong attention to detail.
• Team player.
