Job Summary
The Field Technician is responsible for providing on-site technical support, installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of production-related technology systems. This role serves as a critical link between the support center and engineering teams, ensuring seamless technology performance across studio and remote environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, configure, and maintain production technology equipment at various field locations.
• Diagnose and resolve hardware, software, and infrastructure issues.
• Perform routine inspections and preventative maintenance on systems and devices.
• Document service activities, including installation, troubleshooting, and repair reports.
• Collaborate with engineering and support teams to escalate and resolve complex issues.
• Provide desk-side support when remote troubleshooting is insufficient.
• Manage inventory of tools, replacement parts, and service equipment.
• Train end-users on proper equipment usage and basic troubleshooting.
• Ensure compliance with safety protocols and company standards.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications preferred.
• 2+ years of experience in field support or technical services, preferably in media or production environments.
• Proficiency with diagnostic tools, hand tools, and field automation systems.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication and customer service skills.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to multiple sites.

• Experience supporting production systems in studio or broadcast environments.
• Familiarity with Capgemini support standards and Disney production workflows.
• Knowledge of SNOW (ServiceNow) ticketing systems and assignment group protocols.

• Fast-paced, dynamic production settings.
• May require flexible hours, including evenings and weekends.
• Physical demands include lifting equipment, standing for extended periods, and working in varied environmental conditions.
