We are currently looking for a Field Service Engineer who will be remote-based and located in East Belgium and will support Luxembourg & Belgium.

Our FSE will be responsible to maintain, install and repair Sciex products at both internal and external customer sites, including strategic accounts. This position works independently to resolve all assigned customer and technical issues.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to: 

  • Completes and successfully pass assigned training tasks on assigned products to increase knowledge and work on Sciex and OEM products

  • Perform high quality installation, repair and maintenance on Mass Spectrometry instruments

  • Performs IQ/OQ and other qualification products. Includes training.

  • Experienced in HPLC installation and maintenance

  • Completes all administration duties like Field Service Reports, Tool calibration and parts inventory

The essential requirements of the job include:  

  • Bachelor's degree in Life Sciences, Chemistry ideally

  • Prior experience using and/or servicing mass spectrometry or scientific instruments is of advantage, as well as solid understanding of electrical and electro-mechanical technology

  • English and French proficiency is required

  • Effective communication skills both written and verbal

Travel, Motor Vehicle Record & Physical/Environment Requirements:

  • Ability to travel in the territory to cover

  • Must have a valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record

It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in: 

  • Dutch proficiency
