Eram Talent is actively seeking a Field Operator to join our dynamic team in Saudi Arabia within the Oil & Energy sector. In this role, you will be tasked with ensuring the efficient and safe operation of various field equipment.

Your duties will include:

The Field Operator, reporting to the Shift Supervisor, is accountable for the day-to-day operation and ensuring the production requirements set by the customer are achieved in a safe and efficient manner. The Operator will execute daily tasks which include preparing and implementing safety work permits, LOTO, complete operations preventative maintenance activities, and assist the maintenance and engineering teams in preparing and executing corrective maintenance activities.

  • Safety and Compliance: Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by following JIGPC basic safety procedures, including Safety Work Permits, LOTO, Confined Space, and compliance with process safety, MOCs, environmental, and regulatory requirements.
  • Facility Operation: Operate plant facilities effectively to meet safety, reliability, product quality, and supply flexibility while adhering to contractual requirements and environmental standards.
  • Commissioning and Maintenance Support: Assist in commissioning activities and collaborate with engineering and maintenance teams to monitor, evaluate, and maintain plant systems and equipment.
  • Problem Solving and Continuous Improvement: Participate in investigations and Root Cause Analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions, promoting operational excellence and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Customer Relationship Management: Maintain communications and relationships with customers at all levels, ensuring demand rates are met while optimizing facility efficiency and profitability.
  • Shift Coordination and Additional Duties: Communicate plant activities between shifts to ensure operational continuity and execute other duties assigned by reporting managers efficiently.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Process Operations or a 2-year technical school certificate in Plant Process Operations.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in process plant operations and technical plant support.
  • Strong understanding of plant operations, equipment reliability, process safety, environmental regulations, and health & safety requirements.
  • Ensure the safety of all operations personnel by following safety procedures, including Safety Work Permits, LOTO, and Confined Space protocols.
  • Participate in investigations and Root Cause Analysis to implement sustainable corrective actions and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • A strong commitment to employee involvement, team building and diversity.
  • Able to communicate between operations and maintenance teams.
  • Ability to communicate with the customer at the board level daily. 8. Proficiency in English speaking and writing
