Field Maintenance Engineer

We are looking for new members of our Field Maintenance Team located in Varna. Candidates would perform actions concerning preventive and 24/7 corrective field maintenance of Telecom equipment, Fiber Optic and corresponded passive infrastructure in respective region.

Main responsibilities:

• Perform acceptance of new Telecom equipment and variety types of leased lines
• Perform configuration, re-configuration and maintenance of Telecom equipment
• Coordinate with subcontractors the activities related to integration of Telecom and Passive Equipment
• Prepare and regularly update the data base for Sites
• Maintenance of Fiber Optic Equipment – the ones owned by the company and TT for rented ones
• Provide support to the subcontractors for ordered corrective activities
• Perform 24/7 stand by alert for Site maintenance
• Perform interface cabling and WO execution
• Carry out all other tasks, assigned by the line manager and in accordance with the employee’s qualification and responsibilities
• Observe and comply with all HSSE requirements

Requirements:

• University degree in the field of Telecommunications, Radio communications, Electronics
• Experience in maintenance or installation of telecom equipment is a strong advantage 
• Computer skills (MS Windows, MS Office, Internet & E-mail)
• Typical minimum working experience of 3 years
• Clean driving license
• Fluency in English (both written and verbal)
• Ability  for team work
• Ability to work on heights
• Ability for continual learning (keeping track of new technologies attending presentations, courses and seminars)
• Capability for multitasking and Quick decision making
• Readiness for troubleshooting 24/7 (on call duty)
