Field IT Technician

We are looking for a Field IT Technician whose primary responsibility is to provide on-site technical support to customers, as well as to install, maintain and repair computer systems and IT infrastructure.

Main Responsibilities

·        Install, configure and maintain desktop computers, peripherals and IT equipment.

·        Diagnose and repair faults in workstations, laptops, printers and other IT equipment.

·        Perform on-site visits to customers for technical support and problem resolution.

·        Install and support Microsoft Windows operating systems and office applications.

·        Support and perform basic management of network infrastructure (LAN/WAN, routers, switches, Wi‑Fi).

·        Install and maintain backup solutions, antivirus software and basic information security mechanisms.

·        Log and track requests through a ticketing system.

·        Document technical work and prepare reports after each visit.

·        Collaborate with other technical teams to address complex incidents.

·        Follow the company’s quality and safety procedures.

Requirements

·        Degree or diploma in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or a related field.

·        Previous experience in technical support or as a field technician is an advantage.

·        Good knowledge of Microsoft Windows operating systems.

·        Understanding basic networking concepts (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP).

·        Experience installing and troubleshooting hardware and software.

·        Good command of the English language.

·        Valid driving license (category B).

·        Ability to travel and work at different customer locations.

Preferred Qualifications

·        Certifications such as Microsoft, CompTIA A+, Network+ or equivalent.

·        Experience with Microsoft 365 and cloud services.

·        Knowledge of Active Directory and user management systems.

·        Experience with ticketing systems and incident tracking.
