Fence Installer

We are seeking a dependable and hardworking Fence Installer to join our team in the Jacksonville Airport area (ZIP Code 32218). The ideal candidate has experience installing residential and commercial fencing, works well in a team environment, and takes pride in delivering quality workmanship.

Responsibilities

• Install wood, vinyl, aluminum, chain-link, and ornamental fences.
• Measure, lay out, and mark fence lines according to project plans.
• Dig post holes using hand tools or power equipment.
• Set fence posts in concrete and ensure proper alignment.
• Assemble and install fence panels, gates, and hardware.
• Operate construction tools and equipment safely.
• Load, unload, and transport fencing materials to job sites.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Follow all company safety policies and OSHA guidelines.
• Communicate professionally with supervisors, coworkers, and customers.

Requirements

Qualifications

• Previous fence installation or general construction experience preferred.
• Ability to lift 75+ pounds repeatedly throughout the day.
• Comfortable working outdoors in Florida weather.
• Experience using power tools, measuring equipment, and construction hand tools.
• Valid driver's license and reliable transportation preferred.
• Ability to work Monday through Friday, with occasional overtime as needed.
• Strong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detail.

Physical Requirements

• Frequent lifting, bending, kneeling, climbing, and standing for extended periods.
• Ability to work in varying weather conditions.
• Must be able to safely operate construction equipment and tools.

Preferred Skills

• Experience reading site plans and measurements.
• Gate installation and repair experience.
