College and Graduate School Student Fellowships

SPUR fellowships offer mentorship, flexibility, hands-on experience, the opportunity to publish and present original research, and access to SPUR’s large network of civic organizations, policymakers, and business leaders. 

For Summer 2026, SPUR will begin reviewing applications on April 1, with the application deadline on April 30. Fellowships will take place between June 1 and August 31.

SPUR offers a stipend of up to $2,000 per summer fellow, with the expectation that fellows will work approximately 20 hours per week for about 4 weeks, averaging $25/hour. We also accept applications from students with external funding from their college/university or another institution, which could be part-time or full-time, depending on the amount offered.
