Feed Haul Supervisor

SUMMARY:

Feed Haul Supervisor is responsible for overseeing a team of 20+ feed haul drivers to ensure safe, timely, and efficient delivery of feed to all sites. This role plays a critical part in preventing feed outages, maintaining animal welfare standards, and coordinating with subcontracted feed haul partners. Ensure compliance with all safety regulations, company policies, and animal welfare programs.

• Supervise, coach, and support a team of 20+ feed haul drivers.
• Monitor daily routes, schedules, and performance to ensure timely feed delivery.
• Serve as the primary point of contact for subcontracted feed haul partners.
• Promote and enforce safe driving practices across all drivers.
• Conduct safety meetings, training sessions, and incident reviews.
• Ensure compliance with DOT regulations, company safety policies, and vehicle maintenance standards.

REQUIREMENTS:

Education: High School diploma or equivalent.

Experience: 3 plus years experience in live haul or equivalent Class A CDL preferred welding experience preferred.

Computer Skills: Requires basic computer skills sending and answering emails building and changing spreadsheets.

Supervisory: This position is responsible for supervising a group of personnel who perform somewhat identical and related tasks or activities.

Travel: 1 per year
