Position: FC&A Manager

Location: Kunming, China

Ensure the delivery and execution of the finance planning, actuals, closing and reporting activities for the assigned reporting units.

Ensure the financial compliance of d-f Kunming site.

Act as service receiver for “finance actuals and closing services” as supplied by GES.

Your Key Responsibilities

• Be responsible for coordinating, monitoring, reporting and analyzing the financial statements of the legal entity and implementing and supervising structured interactions with relevant stakeholders.​
• To ensure the delivery and execution of finance actuals, closing and reporting activities, checks financial statements and management reports in accordance with DSM-FIRMENICH Accounting Rules, international and local statutory accounting standards, for integrity, monitors the balance sheet, reviews sub-ledgers, coordinates documentation, monitors the closing process and addresses issues during it, and drives the monthly evaluation meeting.​
• To collect budget data, initiates its entry and completes variance analysis of non-manufacturing OPEX compared to budget, RAF, and/or actuals.​
• To ensure the integrity of data used in management reports related to the legal entity.​
• To ensure compliance with internal control requirements, monitors the internal control framework, acts as the contact for audits, follows up on audit findings and ensures correct recognition of assets and liabilities and adherence to approved processes.​
• To participate in the Firming Management Team meeting weekly, attends the Firming board of directors meeting to prepare financial data and participates in the employee congress as a representative of the JV enterprise.

You Bring

•  Bachelor or Master’s Degree in Accounting/Financial Controlling, and/or licensed certified public accountant;
•  At least 8 years of experience within several finance positions;
•  Knowledge and experience in a Shared Service environment;
•  In-depth understanding of Finance and Accounting processes;
•  Extensive knowledge and understanding of ERP systems (SAP E40);  
•  ACCA/CICPA is preferred
