Facility Mechanical Plant Engineer

Responsibilities

• Design, install, and maintain MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) systems.
• Implement and maintain ISO 9001 and 14001 standards.
• Coordinate preventive maintenance of high-end utility equipment, including chillers, compressors, cooling towers, and DI water systems.
• Complete energy conservation projects and supervise operational expenses.
• Liaise with government agencies to ensure regulatory compliance.
• Use CAD or other design software to build detailed MEP system plans and diagrams.
• Inspect and supervise the installation of MEP systems to ensure accurate functionality.
• Plan and coordinate facility changes for plant, office, and production equipment layouts.
• Develop performance specifications and criteria to meet outstanding operating requirements and safety codes.
• Stay updated with the latest advancements in MEP or equivalent experience to improve system efficiency and sustainability.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering or a related field.
• Minimum of 12-15 years of experience in utility operations and maintenance.
• Proven experience working in clean rooms, including qualification, revalidation, and maintenance.
• Familiarity with TPM (Total Productive Maintenance) and MTBF/MTBR record-keeping.
• Proven understanding of preventive maintenance for high-end utility equipment.
• Experience with ISO 9001 and 14001 implementation.
• Knowledge of RBA guidelines and 5S implementation.
• Proficiency in CAD and other design software.
• Excellent troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
