Job description

KeystoneCare is seeking a reliable and skilled Part-Time Maintenance Technician to join our team in Wyndmoor, PA. This position offers an excellent opportunity for an experienced maintenance professional to support the safe operation and appearance of our facilities by performing building and grounds maintenance, preventative maintenance, and repairs.

The Maintenance Technician will be responsible for maintaining building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems, ensuring all equipment and facilities remain in excellent working condition. This role requires a proactive individual who can identify maintenance needs, respond to service requests, and help maintain a safe, professional environment for employees, patients, and visitors.

Responsibilities

  • Perform routine building and grounds maintenance
  • Conduct preventative maintenance inspections and repairs
  • Troubleshoot and repair HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems
  • Maintain facility equipment and mechanical systems
  • Coordinate with outside vendors and contractors when necessary
  • Ensure maintenance activities comply with safety standards and regulatory requirements
  • Respond to maintenance requests in a timely manner
  • Participate in on-call coverage and respond to facility emergencies as needed
  • Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities and repairs

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required
  • Minimum of 3 years of maintenance experience required
  • Healthcare facility maintenance experience preferred
  • Experience with building systems including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical systems required
  • General knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and preventative maintenance practices
  • Ability to use hand tools, power tools, and maintenance equipment safely and effectively
  • Strong troubleshooting, organizational, and communication skills
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and perform physical tasks including standing, climbing, bending, and walking for extended periods
