Facility Engineer – HVAC and Local Exhaust Systems

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain, inspect, service, and improve HVAC systems, local exhaust systems, and related equipment.
• Review specifications, verify capacity, coordinate connections, and manage construction activities for local exhaust systems associated with new production equipment installations.
• Review and assess local exhaust system capacity, layout, and safety requirements in connection with production capacity expansion, and propose improvements as needed.
• Investigate the root causes of equipment failures, implement temporary countermeasures, and develop and execute permanent corrective actions.
• Coordinate with Manufacturing, Production Engineering, EHS, contractors, and other relevant departments and stakeholders.

Required Skills & Experience

• Experience maintaining HVAC systems in a manufacturing environment.
• Basic knowledge of and practical experience with local exhaust systems.
• Experience coordinating facility-side activities for equipment installation, facility modification work, or production equipment start-up.
• Strong communication skills to work effectively with related departments and contractors.

Preferred Qualifications

• Experience in the design, installation, maintenance management, or periodic self-inspection of local exhaust systems or related equipment.
• Certification as an instructor for periodic self-inspection of local exhaust systems, or equivalent knowledge and experience.
• Experience in facility management at a semiconductor factory, cleanroom, or manufacturing site.
• Experience with production equipment installation, capacity expansion projects, or equipment capacity evaluation.
• Basic English communication skills.
