Start the Best Work of Your Career at Boom

At Boom, we’re building the world’s fastest airliner and rewriting what’s possible. That kind of ambition requires every part of our environment to operate at the highest level—including the spaces where our teams design, build, and innovate. Clean, well-kept facilities aren’t just nice to have—they’re critical to our mission.

We’re looking for a Facility Care Specialist who takes real pride in creating safe, polished, and high-performance environments. In this role, you won’t just be maintaining our spaces—you’ll be supporting the people behind the next era of supersonic flight. With sharp attention to detail, consistency, and a proactive mindset, you’ll help ensure our teams can focus on what they do best: building the future of aviation.

This is more than a cleaning role—it’s about enabling excellence to take off every day.

Role Overview

As Boom’s dedicated Facility Care Specialist, you’ll be the quiet force that keeps our HQ running smoothly. You’ll own the cleanliness and readiness of our workspaces, conference rooms, kitchens, restrooms, and production areas—making sure everything feels polished, functional, and safe.

In this role, you will:

  • Maintain cleanliness across offices, meeting spaces, restrooms, kitchens, and common areas.
  • Sweep, mop, vacuum, and polish floors to ensure a spotless environment.
  • Empty trash and recycling bins and replace liners daily.
  • Wipe down furniture, high-touch surfaces, and glass throughout the facility.
  • Restock restroom and kitchen supplies proactively.
  • Report any maintenance needs, supply shortages, or safety concerns.
  • Follow daily checklists to ensure consistency and high-quality execution.
  • Uphold Boom’s hygiene, safety, and presentation standards at all times.

The Ideal Candidate

  • Has a strong sense of ownership and attention to detail.
  • Can manage tasks independently and stay organized without supervision.
  • Shows up reliably and takes pride in maintaining a space others depend on.
  • Comfortable with physical tasks (e.g., standing, lifting up to 25 lbs, repetitive motion).
  • Open to early mornings, evenings, or weekend shifts as needed to support our team.

What Will Set You Part

  • Experience working in cleanroom-like or regulated environments (e.g., aerospace, healthcare, manufacturing).
  • Proactive and solution-oriented—spots issues before they become problems.
  • Consistently delivers work that exceeds expectations, without needing reminders.
  • Brings positive energy and a team-first attitude to the job.

Shares our passion for building something extraordinary—one clean space at a time.

Compensation

The Base Salary Range for this position is $39,000 - $49,000 per year. Actual salaries will vary based on factors including but not limited to location, experience, and performance. The range listed is just one component of Boom’s total rewards package for employees.
