As our next Facilities Supervisor, you will support facilities operations by assisting with building maintenance, infrastructure services, vendor coordination, and administrative support. What You’ll Be Doing
Facilities Operations & Maintenance
• Coordinate and supervise building maintenance activities, including civil, electrical, and plumbing systems
• Ensure reliable operation of plant utilities, including electrical power, compressed air, ventilation, and water systems
• Address infrastructure-related issues that impact production operations
• Manage preventive and corrective maintenance activities for facility assetsVendor Management
• Manage and coordinate third-party service providers such as cleaning, security, and maintenance contractors
• Monitor contractor performance to ensure quality, safety, and timely execution of services
• Obtain quotations, negotiate service agreements, and optimize supplier performance and cost efficiencyProduction Support
• Serve as the primary facilities contact for production areas
• Support facility modifications, layout changes, and minor construction projects
• Ensure plant infrastructure evolves to meet production requirements and capacity needsHealth, Safety & Environment
• Support compliance with applicable safety regulations and company requirements
• Participate in environmental programs, waste management initiatives, and sustainability efforts
• Support internal and external audits and ensure facility compliance standards are maintained
• Promote safe work practices and a culture of continuous improvementCost & Budget Management
• Monitor facility-related expenses, including maintenance, contracts, utilities, and services
• Support annual budgeting and forecasting activities
• Identify and implement cost-reduction initiatives while maintaining operational performance
• Monitor energy and water consumption and recommend efficiency improvementsAdministration & Reporting
• Maintain maintenance schedules, service records, and work orders
• Track facility performance indicators and service completion metrics
• Prepare operational reports and support management reviews
• Ensure documentation and records are maintained accurately and timely
What We’re Looking For
Bachelor’s degree completed or in progress in Engineering, Architecture, Business Administration, or a related field
• Experience in facilities management, maintenance, or industrial infrastructure environments
• Experience coordinating vendors and service providers
• Knowledge of building systems and industrial utilities
• Familiarity with workplace safety regulations and practices
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, especially Excel
• Experience with ERP or maintenance management systems is desirable
• Strong organizational and prioritization skills
• Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities
• Hands-on approach with a strong sense of ownership and accountability
• Adaptability and ability to work in dynamic manufacturing environmentsBonus Points If You Have:
• Experience in automotive or automotive supplier manufacturing environments
• Experience working within Lean organizations
• Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies
• Experience with industrial construction and facility installations
• Technical education in Building Construction or Civil Construction
• Intermediate or advanced English skills
• Experience with maintenance planning and asset management systemsSenior-Level Qualifications (Preferred for Senior Facilities Roles):
• Experience managing industrial utilities including electrical distribution systems, substations, generators, compressed air systems, HVAC, chillers, industrial water systems, and fire protection systems
• Experience managing infrastructure and CAPEX projects from planning through commissioning
• Experience supporting plant expansions and industrial layout modifications
• Knowledge of KPI management, including utility availability, energy consumption, water usage, SLA compliance, and budget performance
• Familiarity with ISO 14001, ISO 45001, and IATF 16949 requirements
• Experience developing contingency plans for critical utilities and infrastructure systems
• Proficiency with AutoCAD, MS Project, Power BI, SAP PM, CMMS platforms, or similar systems
• Strong leadership, negotiation, project management, and decision-making skills
• Systems-thinking approach to problem-solving and operational excellence
