Why This Role Matters

This role plays a key part in creating a safe, efficient, and well-functioning environment where people and production can thrive. By ensuring that facilities and infrastructure operate reliably, you directly support business continuity and team well-being. Your expertise helps balance operational excellence with sustainability, compliance, and smart resource use. • Lead contracts and supplier relationships related to facility and transportation equipment
  • Ensure proper design, installation, modification, and maintainability of plant infrastructure and equipment.
  • Manage engineering expenses and capital budgets, tracking and optimizing costs across BCUs.
  • Supervise lifting tools and equipment in line with internal standards and EU/Luxembourg regulations.
  • Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, and regulatory requirements, consulting experts when needed.
  • Support and optimize key systems such as HVAC, piping (air, steam, water), cranes, buildings, sanitary systems, and site infrastructure.
  • Drive preventive maintenance programs, troubleshooting, and hands-on problem solving
  • Contribute to digitalization of the Facilities Management System and continuous improvement initiatives.

What We’re Looking For

  • Solid experience in facilities management within a manufacturing or heavy industry environment (tire plant experience is a plus).
  • Strong technical understanding of HVAC, piping systems, cranes, lifting tools, and powered vehicles (e.g. forklifts, nacelles).
  • Proven experience managing facility or mechanical projects—from small repairs to large-scale upgrades.
  • Familiarity with preventive maintenance, energy management, and regulatory compliance (safety & environmental).
  • Ability to collaborate across teams and lead cross-functional initiatives with clarity and empathy.
  • Hands-on, solution-oriented mindset with strong problem-solving skills (DMAIC, A3 are a plus).
  • Experience with cost optimization, lean manufacturing, or operational excellence initiatives is an advantage.
  • Comfortable working with digital tools (Microsoft 365) and contributing to system digitalization.
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering (required), Facilities Management, or a related technical field.
  • Fluent in English and French; German and/or Luxembourgish are a plus.

Note: We welcome applicants from a wide range of backgrounds and experiences. Even if you don’t meet every listed qualification, we encourage you to apply.
