We are looking for a Building Maintenance Coordinator reporting to the Facilities Manager, to assist in delivering a high-quality facilities management service. The ideal candidate will be required to ensure compliance, conduct inspections / checks / testing, and supervise repair and maintenance works at the buildings under the management of the Facilities Team. Moreover, he/she will be the contact person and the administrator for keeping records for all maintenance, repairs, incidents, malfunctions and operations performed to companyโs facilities, informing on time for actions and procedures to be followed in order to meet government & environmental regulations, health, safety & security standards, the needs of the organization and its employees.
Responsibilities:
- Support the Facilities Management Team to ensure compliance with all regulations, ISO and legislative responsibilities;
- Keep track and support the Facilities Management Team at new building projects, renovations, or refurbishments;
- Carry out inspections to ensure the general upkeep and maintenance of the premises;
- Keep analytical records for all upcoming and performed building maintenances, security systems operations and changes;
- Tracks, monitors, and controls all documentation from preventative maintenance procedures and schedules performed in buildings and equipment;
- Keep event calendar and track changes as result of facilities inspections;
- Monitor works performed by contractors, prepares estimations/budget of labor and material costs, contacts external contractors assisting teamโs needs achieve timetable and making arrangements for major repairs and maintenance work;
- Maintain list of Controls and damage resolutions of facilities to ensure that they are in perfect condition;
- Completes and maintains related records such as maintenance logs and security incident reports;
- Assist in the coordination of the Security team and Incident Response Teams (Fire Fighting & First Aiders), including preparation, detection, investigation, containment, recovery and post-activities;
- Help in coordination of the cleaning team and cleaning needs;
- Keep tracks for the maintenance team (electricians, plumbers, etc);
- Inform and keep logs for the smooth operation of the security systems and monitors compliance with company security procedures;
- Keep track of the safe disposal of hazardous waste;
- Undertake any other related duties as may reasonably be required as part of the facilities management service;
- Ensure that all activities and duties are carried out in full compliance with regulatory requirements and supporting the continued implementation of the Group Anti-Bribery and Corruption Policy.
Requirements
- High school education (mechanical / electrical engineer);
- 1-3 years of working experience in facilities maintenance;
- Understanding of E/M installations, HVAC, plumbing, and basic ITS;
- Must demonstrate strong communication and interpersonal skills; customer service oriented;
- Ability to multitask and prioritize workload;
- Organizational, and planning skills, critical thinking and rigorous attention to detail;
- Proven analytical and problem solving skills; high ability to understand complex issues quickly, to effectively analyze facilities/security risks and controls and to clearly report and escalate findings;
- The ability to work both independently and in teams;
- Procurement and negotiation skills;
- Firm command of the English language, oral and written communication skills, and;
- Driving license.
