Fabrication Foreman

As we continue to grow, we are looking for a dedicated Fabrication Foreman to oversee our fabrication operations within the Oil & Energy sector. This role is crucial in managing workflow, ensuring safety compliance, and leading a team to achieve operational excellence.

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate fabrication activities ensuring timely and efficient completion of projects.
• Lead, mentor, and train a team of fabrication workers to maximize productivity and quality.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and work standards in all fabrication processes.
• Review project plans and specifications to determine the necessary materials, equipment, and manpower requirements.
• Monitor the schedules and budgets associated with fabrication projects, ensuring adherence to timelines.
• Conduct regular inspections of fabrication work to ensure quality control and compliance with codes and standards.
• Facilitate communication between fabrication teams and other departments to ensure seamless operations.

Requirements

• Proven experience in fabrication and previous supervisory or foreman role in a manufacturing or industrial environment.
• Strong knowledge of fabrication processes, techniques, and quality control standards.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and specifications.
• Excellent leadership and team management skills with a focus on training and developing staff.
• Strong problem-solving abilities and a proactive approach to addressing operational challenges.
• Familiarity with safety regulations and practices relevant to fabrication operations.
• Effective communication skills and ability to work collaboratively across departments.
