F/T Physician - Urgent Care (MD/DO)

Midwest Express Clinic is chain of independent, non-hospital affiliated clinics that provides an innovative approach to the current healthcare industry. We operate affordable walk in immediate care facilities that is focused around the patient's care and satisfaction. As an independent healthcare organization we have no agenda to push expensive diagnostic testing and unnecessary specialty referrals. Families in our communities can feel comfortable choosing Midwest Express Clinic not only for the convenience of being open 7 days a week, 9am to 9pm, but to care and understand their medical needs to provide affordable and quality care.

We are looking for an immediate hire of a full time or part time physician (MD/DO).

The schedule is consistent for full time at 3 days 9am-9pm, also + 1 additional day 9am-9pm bi-weekly. Our offices are open 7 days a week. Rotating weekends and holidays.

There is no 'on-call' overnight shifts, or hospital rounds. NWI Urgent Care & Midwest Express Clinic have established urgent care facilities in Illinois & Northwest Indiana. We are independent, non-hospital affiliated and locally owned.

We are looking for an experienced physician, and we are offering a highly competitive salary. This clinic uses an EMR system, so efficiently using a computer is important. Also knowledge in handling urgent care procedures is necessary, including but not limited to sprains, strains, abscess drainage, foreign body removal, casting, lacerations etc.

The ideal candidate will have prior urgent care, ER, or family practice experience. Easy to work with, confident and motivated. The ideal candidate must be extremely personable and compassionate who must be able to establish and develop patient relationships. Incredible professionalism, and high-business IQ is necessary along with sound medical practice.
