We are currently seeking a Logistics Operations Team Leader who will play a crucial role in our growth while overseeing the operations of our logistics team. Responsibilities

• Lead and manage a team of logistics operators/seniors (import & export), providing guidance, training, and support to ensure optimal performance and professional development.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing customers, proactively addressing their needs, resolving any issues, and ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction
• Monitor and analyze logistics performance metrics to identify areas for improvement.
• Manage and strengthen relationships with existing suppliers and shipping lines, proactively developing services/solutions that fit our customer base development.
• Ensure compliance with local and international regulations regarding shipping and freight forwarding.
• Train, mentor, and support team members to foster their professional development.
• Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations and ensure compliance within the department.

Requirements

• High level of experience in freight forwarding (Dry, Reefer, and DG), with a strong understanding of customs procedures and regulations.
• Proven experience in managing a team, with excellent leadership and people management skills, and strong problems-solving acumen.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build and maintain relationships with clients, colleagues, and stakeholders.
• Sound knowledge of freight forwarding software and systems.
• Exceptional organizational and time management abilities, with the capability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Proactive and results-oriented mindset, with a drive to achieve targets and contribute to the growth of the department.
• Hands-on experience with logistics software and technology solutions.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
