The Expeditor (Expo) ensures that all kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and according to menu and customer specifications. The Expo coordinates the pace and flow between the kitchen and the Servers.

The Expeditor (Expo) ensures that all kitchen orders are prepared in a timely manner and according to menu and customer specifications. The Expo coordinates the pace and flow between the kitchen and the Servers.

The right person for this job should be able to multitask food orders and deliveries, but not only that. Our restaurant prides itself in providing excellent service, which is why we are looking for a expo who will treat our guests with attentiveness, patience, and a positive attitude.

A suitable candidate for the job should also be a problem-solver and a team player.

Responsibilities of a Expediter (Expo):

• Skills to coordinate and manage the pace and flow between the Servers and the kitchen
• Attention to detail to monitor ticket times and communicate with cook line to assure prompt delivery of orders
• A commitment to ensure that all orders are prepared according to the Guests’ specifications and follow the West End Grill recipes and menu.
• Insuring proper plate presentation at all times.
• The ability to immediately notify management of any item that needs to be recooked and run to a table
• The capability to call for food runners to ensure food gets to the table in a timely manner

You might also have:

• Experience as a Expeditor in a fast-paced work environment
• Organizational skills to maintain contact with the kitchen, Managers, and Servers to ensure that dining details are handled properly and Guests’ concerns are addressed
• The ability to diffuse stressful situations through a calm, thoughtful demeanor
• The desire to work with servers and food runners, to ensure efficient operations while focusing on Guests’ needs
• Communicating order details to the kitchen staff.
• Delivering food in a timely fashion..
• Cleaning and maintaining the appearance expo station.
• Providing exceptional customer experience.

• Must be flexible and ready to work in shifts.
• Must carry at least a high school diploma or equivalent.
