Required Skills :

Roles & Responsibilities:

• Develop software models based on system and software requirements using MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in Avionics domain Background.
• Perform Model-Based Design (MBD) for avionics embedded software applications.
• Develop, integrate, and validate simulation models and simulation packages for avionics systems.
• Create and execute model-level test cases to verify software functionality and ensure requirement compliance.
• Perform model verification, validation, debugging, and optimization.
• Collaborate with system, software, and verification teams throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Generate production code using model-based tools wherever applicable.
• Support integration and testing activities on target hardware or simulation environments.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, including design specifications, test reports, and traceability matrices.
• Ensure compliance with aerospace development standards and quality processes.

Required Skills:

• Strong experience in MATLAB/Simulink.
• Experience in developing and validating simulation packages.
• Hands-on experience in Model-Based Development (MBD).
• Good understanding of software requirement analysis and software design.
• Experience with embedded software development for avionics or aerospace applications.
• Knowledge of software verification and validation methodologies.
• Familiarity with configuration management and version control tools.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with SCADE, IBM Rhapsody, or SysML.
• Knowledge of DO-178C software development lifecycle and certification process.
• Understanding of avionics communication protocols such as ARINC 429, ARINC 664 (AFDX), MIL-STD-1553, or CAN.
• Experience with code generation tools such as Embedded Coder.
• Exposure to Hardware-in-the-Loop (HIL), Software-in-the-Loop (SIL), or Model-in-the-Loop (MIL) testing.
• Familiarity with requirements management tools such as IBM DOORS.
