Expert Systems Engineer

Specific Requirements:

Academic and professional qualifications

• Successful completion of a Bachelor’s Degree or relevant technical experience.

• Post graduation qualifications or technical certifications preferred.

Experience

• Typically requires 10+ years of experience.

• Strong Understanding and knowledge of Windows operating system.

• Experience with Web server MS IIS/SSL required.

• Experience with Load Balance Technologies (F5, Checkpoint, etc) is required

• Experience with Networks, Security, Active Directory, IP, DNS, SMTP, FTP, HTTP is required

• Experience with Server Virtualization (Citrix/VMWare/HyperV) required

• Experience with configuring, tuning, troubleshooting Microsoft SQL Server, SSRS, SSAS is preferred

• Familiarity with build tools such as WIX and Install Shield is preferred

• Experience working in environments with heavy security focus is preferred

• Experience deploying applications over large infrastructures is preferred

• Cloud and Virtualization such as Azure/AWS is a plus

• Experience with TFS and Visual Studio is a plus

• Scripting experience (Powershell, ScriptCS) is a plus

 Travel requirements:  Depends upon the project/program needs.

 Purpose of the Role

• Install, implement, configure, upgrade, troubleshoot, and optimize the performance of assigned technology required to operate client’s infrastructure environment.

 Accountabilities

• Possess Expert level expertise in the assigned technology domain.

• Install, configure, monitor, troubleshoot, support, and resolve issues in assigned technology including hardware, software, operating system and application-related issues.

• Conduct performance monitoring, system health checks, trending analysis.

• Provide 2nd and 3rd level operational support for issues escalated from Support department.

• Develop and maintain documentation related to technology installation, administration and maintenance.
