Experience Required: 10–15 years of experience in helicopter aviation, expert knowledge of industry regulations/CAR, and exposure to the commercial side of helicopter operations.
Position Overview:
We are seeking a seasoned professional to join our sales team and support in the opening-up of / business development for new and yet to be established helicopter aviation segments in India, such as Helicopter Emergency Medical Services (HEMS), Aerial Law Enforcement, Disaster Management, etc.
Besides India, which will be the primary area of responsibility, the position holder will also be responsible for supporting the start of operations in yet-to-be deployed C&P missions for Airbus Helicopters in Nepal, Bhutan, Sri Lanka, Bangladesh and Maldives.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with all stakeholders incl. Operators, central ministries,regulators, state governments, lessors, financing institutions to kick-start operations in yet-to-be introduced C&P missions in India (and regional countries) like Heli-Ambulance (HEMS), Law Enforcement, Disaster Management, Aerial Work, etc.
Work with central paramilitary forces and state level agencies to identify new opportunities for induction of helicopters.
Maintain strong working relationships with key regulatory bodies and contribute as an expert to policy making, drafting/amending of CARs, experience sharing as an expert to open-up the new segments
Represent the company in high-level regulatory/expert discussions, industry consultations, and forums.
Serve as the internal subject matter expert on helicopter operations and act as a sales enabler through effective and measurable business development initiatives.
Contribute to industry groups or channels to provide expert inputs on regulatory changes conducive to helicopter ecosystem development in India and easing of operations for helicopters.
Introduce the helicopter operations in regional countries like Maldives, and in the states of North East and other Indian states.
Must have:
Expert in helicopter operations, deep understanding of DGCA regulations/CARs, EASA/FAA regulations, commercial understanding
Excellent English communication skills
Teamplayer, positive attitude, Ethics & Compliance
