About the Role:
We are seeking an Experienced Sales Representative to identify and secure distributors and importers for our client’s snack products in South Africa. This is a remote role that requires frequent travel and a proactive approach to market expansion, relationship-building, and sales growth.
Key Responsibilities
- Identify and engage potential importers and distributors for our client’s snack products.
- Conduct market research to uncover sales opportunities and assess distributor capabilities.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders in the industry.
- Negotiate agreements that benefit both the company and its partners.
- Ensure smooth distribution of products into target markets.
Requirements
- Existing connections in the snack industry – this is essential.
- Three or more years of experience in sales, sales support, or sales operations, ideally in FMCG or manufacturing.
- A Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or a related field.
- A strong networker and relationship builder with excellent communication skills.
- Highly goal-driven, resilient, and proactive in seeking out opportunities.
- Willingness to travel extensively (60% or more) across South Africa.
- South African residency – this role is only open to candidates currently living in South Africa.
