Position Overview

As a Dental Assistant at BDG Dental Services, you’ll play an essential role in delivering high-quality oral healthcare. You’ll assist dentists with a variety of treatments, ensure a welcoming environment for patients, and maintain our high standards for patient care and safety.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist dentist or hygienist during treatments and escort patients to/from treatment rooms
  • Take and develop dental x-rays
  • Prepare and sterilize instruments and treatment rooms following strict sanitation protocols
  • Help patients feel comfortable before, during, and after treatments
  • Provide follow-up instructions and schedule future appointments
  • Handle emergencies by following established protocols
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
  • Participate in daily huddles, team meetings, and training workshops
  • Manage inventory and supplies while limiting waste
  • Maintain strict confidentiality and comply with HIPAA regulations

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Previous dental assistant experience required
  • Proficiency with dental practice management software preferred (Dentrix Enterprise)
  • Certified Dental Assistant and CPR Certification preferred
