Job Role

We’re looking for a dynamic VBA Developers to join our CIG & Transformation Team. We have a relentless focus on driving results for our customers and enabling them to invest more into their customer care experience. A Developer will be a critical part of our growing business where we are continually striving to automate our customer operations and will be interfacing with stakeholders throughout the enterprise to help drive the adoption of the Automation and will also be responsible for analyzing business processes, design and identifying/implementing VBA/excel Tools, MS-Access, Python & SQL database solutions. Overall the Developer needs to manage end to end delivery of VBA & MS-Access projects, guide and manage the team, be responsible to manage deliverables or the end to end project life cycle. Needs to be proficient in Excel Visual Basic, MS-Access and experienced in automating mainframe, web, .Net based applications, calling API’s, etc., Experience of RPA platforms, Python, Java, SQL database and experience in low code, no code tools will be an added advantage.

Responsibilities:

• Build VB prototypes, small scale applications, VBA scripts, formulas, GUI – Graphical User Interface along with database administration in MS-Access in a bid to automate mainframes, web based applications, excel spreadsheets, SQL database, outlook, mail merge, connecting APIs, etc.,
• Should be competent to create VBA or formula based codes as per the requirements
• Develop, enhance, and maintain MS Office applications, and handle both frontend and backend development procedures
• Design, configure, develop, and implement enhancements and production fixes to existing systems
• Develop and implement new systems, and ensure that their configuration is properly handled
• Use development best practices, and appropriate patterns to develop required software solutions
• Create and maintain technical documentation, including user manuals and guides
• Formulate and define system scope and objectives, based on the individual needs of each user
• Analyze and revise existing system logic difficulties, and ensure that technical knowledge of all phases of application systems is maintained
• Develop, maintain, and support existing MS Excel VBA applications, and analyze and convert business requirements as needed.
• Perform object-oriented analysis and design, and diligent testing to ensure optimal performance of all assigned systems and system modules

Qualifications: 

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in Computer Science or related degree — preferred
• Overall VBA development experience of 0.5-1 years
• Must have skillsets of VBA/excel, Web Scraping, MS-Access and VB.NET
• Secondary skillsets of Python and SQL database
• Client & escalation management
• A passion for automation software design with a talent for independently solving technical problems within VBA, Web Scraping & MS-Access development
• Exposure to the RPA platforms and programming languages (i.e., C#, JAVA, etc.) is an added advantage
• Demonstrated ability to work with international teams supporting automation development
• Exceptional analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving abilities

Must Require Skill

• Working experience in VBA/excel macros, Web Scraping, MS-Access and VB.NET
• Secondary skillsets as SQL database, C# and JAVA
• Experience with automating different applications like mainframes, web based, excel spreadsheets, SQL database, Outlook, mail merge, connecting APIs, etc.,
• Exposure to other RPA tools, such as Automation Anywhere, UiPath, Power Automate, Blue Prism, is preferred but not a mandatory
