[What the role is]

Responsibilities
You will be part of a dynamic team to strategize, develop and implement manpower development programmes and schemes for construction sector. We work closely with industry stakeholders including firms, Trade Associations and Chambers (TACs), and other government agencies to enhance business capabilities and drive innovation in the industry.

[What you will be working on]

Your key responsibilities include the following:

a)  Lead the rollout of a manpower capability development platform that includes online skills assessment, skills test booking system to enable firms to self-help and access their foreign workers skills status and upgrading records.

b) Build and strengthen skills testing capability in Singapore for new foreign worker entry and upgrading, including reviewing and refining assessment standards to ensure they remain rigorous and relevant.

c) Shape the next generation of trade skills competencies by contributing to the development of future skills standards and assessment models that keep pace with industry transformation.

[What we are looking for]

Requirements

• Tertiary qualification in Engineering, Business, or related disciplines.

• Candidates with work experience in (i) construction-related field; (ii) implementation of Robotic Process Automation (RPA) technology, virtual tech imaging tools like SMART glasses, or development of test management systems will have an added advantage.

• Fresh graduates are welcome to apply.

• Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and provide meaningful insights.

• Excellent communication skills with a strong command of spoken and written English.

• Good interpersonal skills – able to influence and persuade stakeholders and work well in a team.

• Detail-oriented with the ability to work independently.

• Proficient in data analysis and reporting tools.
