About Energy, Resources and Infrastructure

Our multi-disciplinary team includes project, project finance, regulatory, infrastructure, construction, operational and corporate specialists who all have deep experience advising on Australia’s most complex energy and infrastructure projects.

We work on renewables and storage projects including wind, solar, battery, alternative storage and hydrogen projects, renewable energy zones and infrastructure projects including social housing and health. We act for a range of stakeholders including developers, investors, contractors and network operators.

About the role

We are seeking an experienced executive assistant to join our Energy, Resources and Infrastructure group in Perth. This role supports a partner and lawyers in a friendly, collaborative and committed team and is offered as a 12-month fixed term contract.

G+T’s energy and resources specialists work on market-leading projects and transactions that shape the Australian energy and resources sector. With deep experience across mining, oil and gas and renewable energy, the team advises on projects throughout their full lifecycle, from acquisition and development to operations and divestment. As part of our commitment to the energy transition and a net-zero future, we work closely with clients to deliver climate-aligned outcomes and navigate the evolving landscape of sustainable infrastructure and investment.

Role overview

The day-to-day responsibilities in the role include:

  • Diary and email management

  • Monthly billing and accounts reporting and management

  • Document and file management of multiple files

  • Liaising with clients and other parties

  • Attending to e-filing processes

  • Organising travel, flights and accommodation

  • Ad hoc administration duties

About you

As an experienced executive assistant, ideally you will have a legal administrative background and you will also be:

  • Three or more years’ experience as an executive assistant or legal secretary

  • Detail oriented and reliable

  • Highly skilled in document preparation and formatting

  • Strongly organised, including diary management

  • A clear and confident communicator with strong interpersonal skills

  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar software
