About the role

Join our Corporate Advisory team as an Executive Assistant, working closely with a Partner and team of lawyers in a high-performing and supportive environment.

G+T’s Corporate Advisory specialists advise across Australia’s most significant deals and governance issues. With deep expertise in capital markets, M&A and board advisory, the team is known for partnering closely with clients to deliver technically sound, commercially strategic advice on critical matters across a broad range of sectors.
The day-to-day responsibilities in the role include:

  • Diary and email management
  • Monthly billing and accounts reporting/management
  • Document and file management of multiple files
  • Liaising with clients and other parties
  • Attending to e-filing processes
  • Organising travel, flights and accommodation
  • Ad hoc administration duties

About You

As an experienced Executive Assistant, ideally you will have a legal administrative background and you will also be/have:

  • Experience as an Executive Assistant or Legal Secretary (around 5 years plus practical experience)
  • Reliable and thorough, with an eye for detail and ability to identify and correct errors in billing and documentation
  • Strong organisational skills, with the ability to manage complex schedules effectively
  • Comfortable following and maintaining effective administrative procedures and document management systems; ensures documents are filed consistently and accessibly
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, and confident engaging with senior stakeholders
  • Brings a proactive, can-do attitude and takes initiative in supporting team needs
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office or similar software
