ERP Platform Tech Lead

About the role:

We are looking for an experienced ERP Platform Lead who is passionate about platform engineering, Salesforce architecture, and DevOps excellence. You will own the technical strategy and operational health of Manabie’s ERP platform, ensuring scalable Salesforce solutions, reliable deployment pipelines, strong security practices, and sustainable platform growth.

You will work closely with Product, Engineering, QA, and Business stakeholders to drive technical excellence, platform stability, and continuous improvement across the ERP ecosystem.

Responsibilities:

Salesforce Platform Governance

• Define Salesforce architecture principles, standards, and best practices.
• Establish development guidelines for Apex, LWC, Flow, Integration, Data Model, and Security.
• Review solution designs and ensure alignment with platform standards.
• Drive reduction of technical debt and platform complexity.
• Act as the final technical authority for Salesforce platform decisions..

DevOps & Platform Engineering

• Own CI/CD strategy and deployment governance across Salesforce environments.
• Establish release management, environment management, and change management processes.
• Drive automation across build, testing, deployment, and monitoring activities.
• Improve platform observability, reliability, and incident response capabilities.
• Implement DevSecOps controls and platform security best practices.

Environment Strategy & Provisioning

• Define sandbox strategy and environment lifecycle management.
• Establish processes for environment provisioning, refresh, and data seeding.
• Improve environment consistency across Development, QA, UAT, Staging, and Production.
• Reduce environment-related deployment and testing issues.
• Define release promotion processes between environments.

Platform Reliability & Operational Excellence

• Define monitoring, alerting, logging, and incident management standards.
• Establish platform health metrics and operational KPIs.
• Improve deployment success rates and recovery capabilities.
• Lead root-cause analysis for major incidents.
• Drive platform scalability, security, and performance improvements.

Requirements:

• 7+ years of Salesforce platform experience.
• Strong expertise in Apex, LWC, SOQL, Platform Events, Integrations, and Salesforce Security Model.
• Experience designing enterprise-scale Salesforce solutions.
• Deep understanding of Salesforce platform limitations and optimization techniques.
• Experience leading Salesforce technical governance and architecture reviews.
• Experience with Salesforce DevOps tooling such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, Azure DevOps.
• Strong understanding of release management, environment strategy, and deployment automation.
• Experience implementing monitoring, logging, alerting, and incident management processes.
• Experience driving DevSecOps initiatives.
