Overview

Role Overview:

• Build intuitive and cutting edge web application interfaces for tools and workflows used by portfolio managers and financial analysts
• Collaborate in a fast-paced team environment to understand, engineer, and deliver on business requirements.
• Strike a balance along the dimensions of feasibility, stability, scalability, and time-to-market when delivering solutions.

Responsibilities

Qualifications & Requirements:

• Experience as a Full Stack Web Developer with a focus on Microsoft Technologies
• Experience building front-end web applications using modern web technologies using Angular 2+ and React.
• Experience with C#, .NET Framework, ASP.NET, Web API
• Additional Client Side Experience with Node.js, NPM, Webpack
• Strong knowledge of SQL. Specifically with design, development, performance tuning and troubleshooting. 
• A sensitivity towards building user-friendly and intuitive interfaces. Must be proficient with CSS and UI/UX Design
• Understanding of the full scope of application development (authentication, integrating with APIs, build process, testing, validation, state management).
• Excellent communication skills

Additional experience in the following areas is a plus:

• Familiarity with Excel Development specifically VSTO
• Experience working with financial market data from Bloomberg, Reuters or other similar sources
• Experience with hedge fund industry or other financial instruments/software (research, risk management, portfolio accounting, reconciliation, order management, etc.).
• Experience building responsive, mobile-friendly applications
• Familiarity with Amazon Web Services (S3, Cognito)
