As an Equipment Traveling Mechanic, your key responsibility will be to maintain service operations by inspecting and repairing defective electrical, electronic, mechanical, and/or hydraulic components on vehicles and heavy construction equipment.

What it takes:

  • Associate’s degree or equivalent from two-year college or technical school and 6 months experience or minimum of 2 years related experience and/or training
  • Welding and fabrication experience
  • Aerial experience (desired) 
  • Experience with DOT inspections, hydraulics, drive train, controls, and electronic diagnostics (desired) 
  • Basic computer proficiency
  • A valid driver license for the type(s) of vehicles you may be driving and an acceptable driving record
  • Federal Medical Card
  • Travel
