Job Description Summary

TO PERFORM GENERAL DAILY CLEANING OF FLOORS IN NURSING STATIONS, LOUNGES, CORRIDORS AND OTHER ASSIGNED AREAS TO PROVIDE A ENVIRONMENTALLY SAFE AND CLEAN ATMOSPHERE IN ACCORDANCE WITH STANDARD PROCEDURES OF THE HOUSEKEEPING DEPARTMENT.

QUALIFICATIONS:

HIGH SCHOOL GRADUATE OR GED PREFERRED. HOUSEKEEPING OR RELATED FIELD EXPERIENCE PREFERRED.

LANGUAGE/ COMMUNICATION SKILLS

DEMONSTRATES APPLICABLE KNOWLEDGE OF SUPPLIES/EQUIPMENT USED IN EVS. DEPT. MUST BE ABLE TO COMMUNICATE BOTH VERBALLY AND IN WRITING.

SKILLS:

DEMONSTRATES ABILITY TO MOVE, TRANSFER, TRANSPORT, SET UP FURNITURE WITHIN FACILITY. EFFICIENTLY DRY AND WET MOP FLOORS IN ROOMS, OFFICES AND PUBLIC AREAS.
