Job Description:

This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.



Schedule: Monday - Friday

Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm

*Some holidays required

Position Specifics:

• Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
• Shift: Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (some holidays required)
• Additional details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights, and weekends

Essential Functions:

• Clean and vacuum all floor surfaces
• Dispose of all infectious and non-infectious waste
• Clean patient rooms and common areas
• Dust all areas, both high and low
• Stock supplies for cart and room as required
• Demonstrate proficiency in the cleaning of beds and the Alaris IV Pumps
• Demonstrate communication skills according to age of patient/visitor/customer
• Give proper instructions to patients/visitors/customers relative to their age requirements

The hourly range for this position is listed below. Actual hourly rate dependent upon experience.
