This position is responsible for performing general housekeeping tasks to maintain the facility and associated buildings in a sanitary, safe, and attractive condition and to meet hospital and Joint Commission standards.

Schedule: Monday - Friday
Hours: 3:00pm - 11:30pm
*Some holidays required

Position Specifics:

- Schedule: Full-time, 40 hours per week
- Shift: Monday through Friday, 3 p.m. to 11:30 p.m. (some holidays required)
- Additional details: Shift differentials given for evenings, nights, and weekends

Essential Functions:
- Clean and vacuum all floor surfaces
- Dispose of all infectious and non-infectious waste
- Clean patient rooms and common areas
- Dust all areas, both high and low
- Stock supplies for cart and room as required
- Demonstrate proficiency in the cleaning of beds and the Alaris IV Pumps
- Demonstrate communication skills according to age of patient/visitor/customer
- Give proper instructions to patients/visitors/customers relative to their age requirements
