English Teacher

We are looking for an English Teacher for an international school in Shanghai. This is a full-time position starting in August 2026.

About the school

This school is a new high school, belongs to a famous education group, located in Xuhui, Shanghai. The school creates an intelligent learning atmosphere and the International Baccalaureate (IB) curriculum.

Job responsibilities

• Teach the subject of English B to high school students utilizing the IB DP framework and ensuring an engaging and enriching learning experience
• Preparing lessons and lectures, tutoring techniques, designing and correcting assessments, and writing report comments
• Collaboratively teach alongside fellow educators, actively contributing to the development and enhancement of the school's curriculum
• Assess and monitor students’ progress and provide targets so that all learners can succeed and improve
• Provide clear and constructive feedback to students and their parents and caregivers
• Develop supportive and safe learning environments

Requirements

• Bachelor degree or above in the related subject
• Teaching certificate
• Two or more years teaching experience in the subject in higher education
• Excellent communications skills
• Good understanding of teaching in IB context
