English Literature Teacher

We are looking for a Literature Teacher for an International High school based in Shanghai’s Jing An district. This is a full-time position starting from the upcoming academic year in August 2026.

Job responsibilities

• Teach AP or A-Level English Literature to middle and high school students from grade 7 to grade 12
• Work with colleagues in supporting the delivery of AP or A-Level of the subject in a bilingual learning environment
• Prepare teaching plan, ensure class quality, record and follow up learning process of students.
  
• Conduct teaching/learning activities appropriate to the needs of individual learners, course and the curriculum, keeping attendance records and maintaining student discipline
• Provide assessment and feedback to learners, and maintain assessment records, including tracking and reporting of learner progress in line with school policy
• Provide active support to individual learners

Requirements

• Bachelor degree (or above), major related to the subject
• At least 2 years working experience in teaching AP or A-Level
• Relevant certificates preferred
• Eligible for the work z-visa
