YOUR ROLE

As an Industrial Engineering on our team, you'll provide manufacturing systems for the production processes of the DCS MEXICO plants.

In your daily job you will:

  • Provide and promote a Safe Work Environment.
  • Develop manufacturing systems for new products that meet Quality, Safety, and Customer-Required Capability, demonstrated and documented through CPK, R&R, that meet Takt Time at the Lowest Possible Cost. Coordinate the Preparation of MSD. Design PLANT LAYOUT. Design Engineering Operating System. Time and Motion. Kaizen. Ergonomics. Design Operating Methods and Visual Aids. Design Packaging Methods.
  • Enter Information into Systems (SAP). Coordinate MQ1 Functionality Validation.
  • Start up and Implement Manufacturing Systems that comply with the Guidelines Established in BOP, DFM, MSD, Safety, and Ergonomics (Equipment and Tools).
  • Meet the Established PPAP Dates.
  • Release of New Processes and/or Tools.
  • Training for Manufacturing Engineers and Operators.
  • Continuous Improvement Support for Production Processes, Including Cost Reduction Projects through ICIM.
  • Management of Engineering Activities according to EOS.

YOUR BACKGROUND

Key skills and competencies for succeeding in this role are:

  • Completed bachelor's degree
  • +4 years of experience as Industrial Engineer or similar
  • Advanced English
  • Core Tools (PFD, PFMEA, PPAP, CONTROL PLAN).
  • Knowledge in the use of SAP.
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing
  • Experience with AutoCAD
  • Interpretation of Turtle Diagrams and Operating Systems.
  • PFMEA AIAG-VDA.
  • Standardized work.
  • Knowledge in Ergonomics and Safety.
  • GSD (Release).
