Engineering Change Specialist (3 Months Contract - Renewable)

Apply to this jobWe are seeking a Engineering Change Specialist for a 3+3 month assignment to support the redlining and updating of Technical Product Documents (TPDs) associated with parts approved with alternative raw materials. The role is critical to ensure accurate documentation, timely ECO processing, and compliance with internal quality systems.
Key Responsibilities
- • Perform redline updates for up to 500 TPDs affected by alternative raw material approvals.
- • Review engineering drawings, specifications, and BOM information to ensure accuracy.
- • Update document revisions in the PLM system (Teamcenter).
- • Coordinate with engineers to clarify technical details where required.
- • Ensure all document changes follow internal change control and quality procedures.
- • Support ECO routing, attachments, and documentation closure activities.
- • Maintain proper documentation version control and ensure audit readiness.
- • Prepare status trackers and progress updates as needed.
- Report to and update regularly to Project Managers on assigned tasks completion progress, issues and support needed.
Requirements
- Diploma or Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Materials Science, or related technical discipline.
- Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings (dimensions, GD&T, tolerances, materials).
- Familiarity with technical documentation such as TPDs, specifications, and BOMs.
- Proficiency in document redlining using PDF tools (Adobe, Bluebeam, etc.).
- Experience working with PLM systems (Teamcenter).
- Strong attention to detail and quality in documentation work.
