Essential Responsabilities:

• Provide technical support for the design of rotating electrical machines, manufacturing, and final testing;
• Create customer and manufacturing drawings, cutting plans, layouts, and technical instructions in accordance with industry standards and bill of materials;
• Create bill of materials in the SAP;
• Perform mechanical analyses of electrical machine components: thermal, noise, structural, modal, bearing selection, rotordynamic, and torsional, with corresponding documentation;
• Understand the goals and objectives of the global Technology and Engineering structure;
• Participate in the development of new suppliers, providing technical support on compliance with international standards;
• Plan and execute test data acquisition campaigns for problem resolution, in a theory/practice loop;
• Read and interpret technical specifications.

Required Qualifications:

• Mechanical or Mechatronics Engineering complete degree;
• Advanced English;
• Experience with mechanical design tools: AutoCAD, Creo, ANSYS, Dyrobes, Mathcad, or similar;
• Experience resolving issues in rotating electrical machines;
• Experience with modal hammer (bump-test) analysis and results interpretation;
• Familiarity with industry standards: NEMA-MG1, IEC-60034-14, API 541, 670 and 684;
• Avaiability to work in person on Campinas/SP.
