An Endoscopy Technician is a vital part of the medical team, assisting with patient care during endoscopy procedures. They work closely with doctors, nurses, and anesthesia staff to ensure every procedure runs smoothly and safely.

The primary responsibilities of an Endoscopy Technician include:

• Assisting during procedures: They serve as the "assistant" during endoscopy procedures, helping the healthcare providers with technical functions.
• Managing equipment and supplies: They are responsible for making sure all necessary instruments, equipment, and sterile supplies are available and ready for use.

In essence, the Endoscopy Technician's role is to provide essential technical support, allowing other healthcare professionals to focus on the patient's care.

Education: High school diploma or GED required.
