Hiring Range: $290,000.00 – $376,000.00

Actual pay depends on specialty, experience, and performance

Riverside Medical Group is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinologist to join our expert team in Newport News, Virginia.

Overview / Role Summary

We are seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible Endocrinology Physician to join Riverside Medical Group in Coastal Virginia. This provider will deliver comprehensive endocrine care, managing a wide range of conditions including diabetes, thyroid disorders, osteoporosis, and metabolic diseases. Join a collaborative, patient-centered team committed to improving community health through evidence-based care and innovation.

Responsibilities

Provide outpatient endocrinology care to adult patients
Diagnose and manage endocrine disorders including diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, and pituitary conditions
Develop individualized treatment plans and coordinate multidisciplinary care
Interpret diagnostic tests including labs, imaging, and hormone studies
Educate patients on disease management and preventive care
Collaborate with primary care providers and specialists
Participate in quality improvement and value-based care initiatives
Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation

Required Qualifications

Doctor of Medicine or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine
Board Certified or Board Eligible in Endocrinology
Licensed or eligible for medical licensure in Virginia
Completion of an accredited Endocrinology fellowship program
Current DEA license

Licensure & Regulatory Requirements

Eligible for Virginia licensure at time of hire
DEA registration (or ability to obtain prior to start date)
BLS certification required

Preferred Qualifications

Prior clinical experience in endocrinology practice preferred
Interest in diabetes management and patient education programs
Experience with insulin pumps, CGM technology, and advanced diabetes therapies
Strong interest in population health and value-based care

Hiring Range / Compensation
