The Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) Global Communications organization is seeking an employee communication professional to join our global Employee Communication & Experience team. The ideal team member is creative, brings bold ideas and is passionate about employee engagement. They should be an excellent team player and relationship builder.

The team member in this role will support key campaigns and programs led by the Employee Communications & Experience team, working to build engagement strategies, craft compelling content and design experiences that help inform, inspire and nurture the culture at HPE. The ideal person will have experience in a corporate environment in a similar role focusing on Employee Satisfaction and Communications. 

This position is located at HPE headquarters in San Jose, Calif. and may require travel up to 10% of the time.

Responsibilities

·       Contribute to key global employee communications channels (intranet, ESNs- employee social networks, i.e., yammer, slack etc., videos, email, etc.) and manage the master content calendar, ensuring a cohesive narrative across channels and platforms

·       Partner with our internal video production team to concept, script and manage employee videos

·       Assist with and contribute to critical projects and campaigns, including All Employee Meetings, culture campaigns, people-leader communications, corporate citizenship campaigns, inclusion and diversity work, etc.

·       Plan and build compelling stories and content that connect our people to HPE’s strategy and advance our culture

Education and Experience Requirements

·       BA or BS in Communications, Journalism, Marketing or similar

·       3-5 years of experience in employee communications or similar

·       Travel up to 10% of the time, possibly global.

·       Relocation Service are not available for this position. Person is based in              our Corporate Headquarters in San Jose, CA. 

 

Knowledge and Skills

·       Excellent writing and oral presentation skills

·       Advanced knowledge and understanding of employee communications methodologies, tools and vehicles

·       Fast-paced environment, ability to multi-task

·       Strong writing and storytelling skills, with strong organizational and program management skills

·       Strong team player with excellent listening and interpersonal skills capable of working across teams to build consensus

·       Thrives in environments that encourage creativity and bold thinking

·       Proactive self- starter that’s ok operating in ambiguity

·       Advanced skills with PowerPoint and Word
