The responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to, the following:

  • Analyzing tax compliance obligations for operations within the EMEA region, ensuring timely and accurate filings in accordance with local tax laws and regulations
  • Monitoring and interpreting tax regulations and provide guidance to the organization
  • Maintaining relationships and coordinating with local tax advisors in the region to ensure effective tax planning and compliance
  • Reviewing income tax provisions for the region as well as maintaining internal controls related to corporate tax processes
  • Working closely with other departments to ensure accurate and efficient tax reporting and compliance
  • Managing tax audits for EMEA region
  • Monitoring EMEA VAT compliance
  • Supporting Pillar II compliance and Country-by-Country reporting
  • Contributing to the development and improvement of tax policies and procedures, with a particular focus on technology solutions
  • Assisting with tax planning and other special projects, as necessary

The following is required for this role:

  • Bachelor’s degree in finance, accountancy or taxation an accredited University
  • Advanced/Fluent English
  • 5-7 years of experience in the tax department of a multinational company, or equivalent experience within a public accounting firm
  • Experience with tax compliance requirements across the EMEA region

The following is preferred for this role:

  • experience with SAP, OneStream, and/or OneSource
  • experience leading a team in a global, hybrid work environment
