Responsibilities

  • Provide support for end-of-line (EOL) test benches used in electronic board manufacturing

  • Maintain and support the Cube Control end-of-line test bench software

  • Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of existing test bench applications

  • Develop new test bench software features and enhancements for the V4 product version

  • Test, validate, and verify software modifications before production release

  • Provide technical support for manufacturing, including root cause analysis and troubleshooting of production issues

  • Collaborate with engineering and manufacturing teams to ensure stable and reliable test bench operation

  • Support supplier and production-related technical activities when required

  • Maintain technical documentation related to software changes and configurations

Key Responsibilities

    Electronic Board End-of-Line Test Bench

    • Maintain and enhance the existing test bench software

    • Implement engineering changes for the V3 product version

    • Develop new software functionalities for the V4 product version

    • Execute software testing and validation activities

    • Support production by resolving test bench and manufacturing issues

    • Perform fault diagnosis and technical problem-solving

      • Cube Control End-of-Line Test Bench

      • Maintain and continuously support the Cube Control test bench software

      • Implement V3 engineering modifications

      • Develop new functionalities required for the V4 product version

      • Perform testing, validation, and documentation of software changes

      • Troubleshoot production-related issues

      • Provide technical support for manufacturing and supplier-related processes when necessary

        • Expected Deliverables

        • Fully functional, maintained, and validated test bench software releases

        • Successful implementation of V3 engineering changes

        • Delivery of V4 test bench software developments

        • Complete testing and validation documentation

        • Root cause analysis and issue investigation reports where applicable

        • Updated technical and configuration documentation

        • Documentation of manufacturing support activities

        • Knowledge transfer to the Knorr-Bremse engineering team when required

Required Skills & Experience

  • Hands-on experience with NI TestStand

  • Strong knowledge of NI LabVIEW

  • Experience with JTAG / Boundary Scan technologies

  • Good understanding of electronic boards (PCBAs) and electronic manufacturing processes

  • Basic knowledge of pneumatic systems

  • Experience in test bench / test system development

  • Proven experience in troubleshooting electronic systems

  • Strong analytical and structured problem-solving skills

  • Relevant experience working in a manufacturing or production environment

  • Experience in software development and maintenance for industrial test systems or end-of-line (EOL) test benches

  • Good written and spoken English
